🐦🌿 Forest School: Learning About Birds! 🌿🐦
What a wonderful time we’ve had at Forest School learning all about the birds that share our outdoor spaces! 🌳🪶
We spent time spotting and identifying different birds, talking about what they eat and where they live, and thinking about how we can help care for them throughout the year.
The children then got creative and made their very own bird feeders to provide a little extra food for our feathered friends. 🥜🐦
It was lovely to see so much curiosity, teamwork and care for nature. We can’t wait to see which birds come to visit our feeders! 💚🌳

What a fantastic Enrichment Day at St. Benedict’s! 🌟
We had such a wonderful day filled with lots of fun, exciting activities and plenty of opportunities to learn, explore and try something new. It was lovely to see everyone getting involved, enjoying themselves and making such great memories.

⚽️🌟 What a fantastic evening of football! 🌟⚽️
A huge well done to all the girls who took part in our football tournament! They were absolutely amazing and showed fabulous teamwork, resilience, determination and sportsmanship from start to finish. 👏
There were some fantastic moments on the pitch — great passing, brilliant defending, goals galore and, most importantly, the girls encouraged and supported one another every step of the way. 💪⚽️
We couldn’t be prouder of every single one of them. They gave it their all, represented their teams brilliantly and showed just how much talent, passion and potential they have.

🌿🙏 Celebrating the Season of Creation 🙏🌿
Our children have been taking time to celebrate the Season of Creation through a series of special prayer stations.
The prayer stations gave the children an opportunity to pause, reflect and pray, giving thanks to God for the wonderful world He has created and reminding us of our responsibility to care for our common home. 🌍💚
It was beautiful to see the children taking part so reverently and thoughtfully, spending quiet time in prayer and reflection.
A wonderful opportunity for us all to stop, give thanks and reflect on how we can be Stewards of God’s creation each day. 🌱✨

🚒🔥 Fire Brigade Visit! 🔥🚒
What an exciting visit! We were delighted to welcome our local Fire Brigade to school to talk to our Year 1 and Year 5 children about fire safety and careers in the fire service.
The children had the opportunity to learn some really important fire safety messages, ask questions, and find out more about the different roles and responsibilities of firefighters. They also enjoyed learning about the skills needed for a career in the fire service.

🏛️ Year 3/4 Explore Alcester’s Heritage! 🏛️
What a wonderful time our Year 3/4 children have had learning all about the rich heritage and history of Alcester!
The children had the fantastic opportunity to meet the Town Crier, as well as members of the Alcester Court Leet, who explained all about their fascinating roles and the important traditions they help to keep alive. The Court Leet has been maintaining the traditions and ceremonies of Alcester for over 700 years, so it was a wonderful opportunity for the children to experience a little piece of our local history.
The fun continued with the White Hart Morris Men, who introduced the children to the wonderful tradition of Morris dancing. The children had great fun joining in and even trying out some of the dances themselves! 💃🕺
Our children were an absolute credit to the school throughout the day. They behaved impeccably, listened beautifully and showed such enthusiasm and curiosity for their local history.
