Learning at Our Lady's...⭐
Last week in Science, Years Five and Six investigated Newton Metres; using them to determine the correlation between increasing the weight of an object and how much force was required to lift it. 🔬
In History, Years Three and Four enjoyed an Ancient Egyptian themed day, and as part of this, they had the opportunity to try some different food, such as: flat bread, hummus, traditional beans, Baba Ganoush and falafel. 🫘
In Art, Years One and Two admired the famous spider sculpture, created by Louise Bourgeois, before working collaboratively to create their own. 🕷️ Reception also got creative by working collaboratively to create a piece of abstract art based around fireworks. They had fun experimenting with different painting techniques! 🎨
We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday for more fun and learning across the curriculum. 😊
